The H1 CHRONOMETER merges highest movement precision with fine technical aesthetics and the most elegant design. Every H1 CHRONOMETER-movement is tested for 1,000 hours and adjusted to six positions – based on the strict test criteria of the Deutsche Seewarte von 1877 (German Naval Institute).

Even though the H1 CHRONOMETER is such an elegant wristwatch we put emphasize on water-,shock- and scratch resistance. To guarantee this for a lifetime we had to develop a technically elaborate watch case construction with four integrated seals. In combination with the precision cut sapphire crystal the NEW H1 CHRONOMETER is exceptionally robust and water resistant. The high-grade sapphire crystal is shock-proof and scratch resistant.
The H1 CHRONOMETER is a watch for a lifetime. Handmade and with our new manufactory movement HUW 1130 Premium on the highest technical standard. The H1 should fit you perfectly like a tailor-made suit and meet you own and personal idea of a watch. This is why we not only use different case materials but two sizes as well. Because of this you can be assured to find the right size for your wrist. To further individualize your H1 CHRONOMETER we offer several different dials in creme-white, platinum-grey or anthracite. The hands are matching the case in colour but can be thermally blued as an option.

Our in-house caliber HUW 1130 Premium with its curved bridges is reminiscent of the early 20th. century pocket watch movements and their artistic beauty. The swans neck regulator facilitates a precise regulation of the movement. Every component has been optimized with the emphasis on minimizing of abrasive wear and the longevity of the wheels and the escapement. The new HUW 1130 S sets a new standard and combines robustness with precision.
This movement is exclusively reserved for HENTSCHEL watches in chronometer quality. Its distinctive feature are the screwed-on golden Chatons that provide extra shock protection for the rubies and are the best, if even the most laborious solution to construct a bearing for the wheels pivots. This equally applies to the swans neck regulator – it enables the watchmaker to adjust the movement in exceedingly fine increments. Only the finest watches posses both these technical features.
