My team and I spent the dark season intensively in the studio so that we could once again present you beautiful new developments from our manufactory for 2024.
Two extraordinary wristwatches were created with our completely revised in-house caliber “WERK 1”. The first of these two models is the H1 LAQUE ÉMAILLÉE.
For the discerning watch lover who appreciates the finest materials, best manufacturing quality and understatement.
The simple elegance and classic aesthetics of the H1 LAQUE ÉMAILLÉE is impressive and at the same time reserved – the spirit of a bygone era.
Simply a beauty.
The first thing you notice is the enamel white dial with its high-gloss, absolutely homogeneous surface. It is reminiscent of the fine pocket watches from the good old days of traditional watchmaking.
Like in the olden days, it fascinates the beholder with its color purity, distinct simplicity and makes the perfect stage for the elaborately made, slightly curved and thermally blued hands at the same time.
The composition of the case is also very traditional. Thanks to its appropriate size of 39.5mm, the height of just 8.5mm and the harmonious proportions, the H1 LAQUE ÉMAILLÉE nestles wonderfully on the wrist and slips easily under any shirt cuff.
The three-part case construction made of polished white gold differs from almost all watch cases from other manufacturers, which usually consist of only two case parts – the case itself and a case back. Thanks to our elaborate, three-part watch case, we can create an extremely narrow glass bezel, which gives the H1 LAQUE ÉMAILLÉE a very fine appearance while looking significantly larger than it actually is.
The slightly curved sapphire crystal is double anti-reflective coated and stretches elegantly over the dial of the H1 LAQUE ÉMAILLÉE, held only by a fine bezel made of polished white gold.
The silhouette of the H1 LAQUE ÉMAILLÉE is strikingly flat. The fine white gold case fits elegantly on the wrist. Its pleasant weight underlines the unobtrusive luxury, visible only to the expert eye.
The exclusive HENTSCHEL HAMBURG factory caliber WERK 1 in a new premium version represents the technical pinnacle of our manufacture and was elaborately revised and further refined especially for the H1 LAQUE ÉMAILLÉE. To create an exceptionally intense play of light in the movement, we used a special galvanic process and aesthetically refined the surfaces of the three-quarter plate. Its luster harmonizes perfectly with the polished surfaces of the white gold case of the H1 LAQUE ÉMAILLÉE.
